Biography

MSc student currently studying the ontogeny of the Permian dicynodont Diictodon feliceps, using morphometric analysis of cranial remains and histology of postcranial elements. My Bsc. Hons dissertation focused on the pathological postcranial remains of a sabertooth cat from the Langebaanweg locality. I have a passion for palaeobiology, taxonomy and macroevolutionary biology. Personally, I am dedicated to producing work that is ethical and constructively contributes to our global scientific framework. This involves active dismantlement of colonial academic systems and creation of supportive spaces for young scientists that are free from discrimination based on race, gender, sexuality or religion.
